BritBox International Appoints Vice President of New Business Development and Editorial Director

Streamer BritBox International has made two new executive hires, naming Liz Spaulding as Vice President of Business Development and Jennifer Moon as Director of Editorial and Programming Strategy.

Spaulding will be tasked with leading growth opportunities and partnership relationships, while Moon will take the lead on US and Canadian programming, acquisition and programming strategy.

Spaulding joins from STARZ while Moon joins from AMC. Both will be based in New York, where they will report to the group’s executive vice president and general manager of marketing services, Robert Schildhouse.

Spaulding will also report to the streamer’s global head of acquisitions and chief commercial officer, Kerry Ball.

Both Schildhouse and Ball are also relatively new to the company, with Schildhouse joining last fall and Ball last summer.

BritBox International is also on the hunt for a new creative director after Diederick Santer announced his resignation. He will stay to help with a transfer until the end of February.

“Both Liz and Jennifer have a deep understanding of the rapidly changing broadcast landscape and excellent skill sets that will help BritBox continue to evolve and be the destination for more fans of premium British content,” said Schildhouse. “We look forward to having both of them as part of our BritBox team.”

Spaulding said: “BritBox has been a leading streaming service in cultivating a loyal and engaged fanbase. I am delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with the team as they continue to expand and grow their platform.”

Jennifer Moon said: “With her uniquely British voice, BritBox have achieved that rare goal of creating a portfolio of content that never disappoints and lives up to subscribers’ expectations. By leaning into his style and approach of deliberate acquisition and careful curation, I’m excited to help the BritBox International team continue to bring viewers the kind of content they love.”
